Mentok Kangri
Mentok Kangri is one of the most beautiful peaks in Ladakh. The range lies opposite the pristine Tso Moriri, and offers a climb to Mentok 1, 2 & 3. All three peaks are accessible, via a semi-technical route. An ice wall section in front of Mentok 1 makes things interesting, and it cannot be climbed without an ice axe and crampons. We offer a climb to Mentok 2 at 6,250m with a traverse from Mentok 1 at 6150m (false summit).

Inclusions.
- Accommodation in Leh at a homestay for 3 nights on a twin or three person sharing basis.
- Veg food as per menu on the trek.
- Tents on sharing basis, Sleeping bags, mats.
- Technical equipment including rope, seat harness, carabiners, snow boots and crampons (as per requirements).
- Travel from Leh to road-head and back.
- Mountaineering course certified expedition guides.
- Flat 50% discount on the customized TMNA t-shirts.
Exclusions.
- Any expense of personal nature.
- In case reserve day for summit attempt is utilized, an additional amount of INR 3500 would be charged.
- Any kind of food expenses during your stay in Leh.
Itinerary
Day 01
Arrive in Leh at 3,500m.
Day 02
Acclimatisation day 1. Team-meeting, and easy hikes around Leh.
Day 03
Acclimatisation day 2. Hike up to 4800m and back to Leh, gear rental and final shopping for the expedition.
Day 04
Move to Karzok Village at 4,600m. Camp for the night.
Day 05
Move to base camp at 5,100m.
Day 06
Acclimatization and rest day the base camp.
Day 07
Leave for the summit in the night. Head back down to base, and hike back to Karzok Village. Stay for the night.
Day 08
Head back to Leh.
*Day 9
Buffer day*, only to be used in case of bad weather conditions affecting our summit plans.
