Friendship Peak
Mt Friendship, also called Friendship Peak, is a mountain summit in Manali town of Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, India on an altitude of 5,287 metres (17,346 ft) above sea level.
Easily accessible as the road-head is a 45-min drive from Manali, this trek leads you into the beautiful Solang Valley walking along the banks of the Beas river. Perfect for someone looking for their first expedition.

Inclusions.
- Veg food as per menu on the trek.
- Tents on sharing basis, sleeping bags, mats.
- Technical equipment including rope, seat harness, carabiners, snow boots and crampons (as per requirement).
- Mountaineering course certified expedition guides.
- Travel from Manali to road-head and back.
- Flat 50% discount on the customized TMNA t-shirts.
Exclusions.
- Food and stay expenses in Manali
- Any expense of personal nature and any expense not specified in the inclusions list.
- In case reserve day for summit attempt is utilised, an additional amount of INR 2500 would be charged.
Itinerary
Day 01
Arrive in Manali at ~2,000m. Acclimatisation and briefing day.
Day 02
Drive from Manali to Dhundi (road-head) at 3,000m, hike to Bakkarthatch at 3,300m.
Day 03
Move to Lady Leg base camp at 3,800m.
Day 04
Load ferry to Summit Camp at 4,200m and back.
Day 05
Move to summit camp later in the day and rest and get ready for the summit push in the night.
Day 06
Summit day, 5,287m. Leave for the summit around 2am, and be back at the camp around 12pm. Move back down to Lady Leg.
Day 07
Pack up and leave for the road-head at Dhundi, where our taxi waits to take us back to Manali.
Day 08*
Buffer day*, only to be used in case of bad weather conditions affecting our summit plans.
